Job Description
Wanco Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician in our Arvada, CO production facility.
Summary:
Seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing production team that builds high-end highway safety and traffic control equipment. Our team members will be expected to be trained in all the functions necessary to build our products . You will be cross-trained through all the job stations to take on any role. Each job station requires attention to detail.Essential Functions:
The successful candidate has experience in a lean manufacturing environment using an ERP system with an ability to be self-driven and go ahead with limited direction.Key requirements include:
- Display a positive attitude and practice a strong work ethic that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of WANCO.
- Mechanical skills - bolting, drilling, general assembly, operating hoist/crane.
- Team player: cross-training and supporting peers with work that is outside of your, or their, core skill set.
- Identify and communicate quality, safety, and productivity improvement opportunities.
- Accurately capture materials and parts consumption using provided computer systems and software.
- Support other projects when needed.
