Summary The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the operation of all production related equipment, including modification, installation, repair and preventative maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain all secondary/support machinery, pumps, AC/heating units, compressors, electrical panel, building (minor) and plumbing. Maintain all tumblers and sanding equipment. Proper diagnostic and problem solving in an immediate response situation to all equipment failure. Ensure proper documentation and information is recorded on a daily basis. Maintain cooling tower, parts washer and driers. Perform preventative maintenance duties to keep equipment in optimal performance. Perform minor electrical troubleshooting. Proper diagnostic and problem solving in an immediate response situation to equipment failure. Check overall condition and operation of equipment on an ongoing and regular basis. Ensure that all plant equipment has adequate spare parts, including but not limited to essential stock. Work with vendors and contractors to identify proper replacement parts and services. Take active part in training and helping others as required. Participate in continuous improvement teams as required. Ensure full implementation of all relevant procedures and instructions.
