Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Technician for a contract opportunity in Stratford, CT.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

(REQUIRED

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

) Experience operating non-automated stand-alone equipment (drill press, band saw, chop saw, hydraulic press). Preferred Qualifications Prior experience associated with aviation hydraulics and mechanical assemblies. Prior experience associated with large industrial hydraulic power supplies and distribution systems. Experience with fabricating hydraulic pipes and hoses. Experience associated with power trains and rotor systems. Experience with precision measurement equipment. Experience reading and working to engineering documents.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Able to work from engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, technical documents and formal direction. Performs a variety of duties in the assembly, fabrication, and maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical assemblies. Experience with hand tools to assemble and repair machinery. Experience with handheld power tools. Experience safely using stationary power tools, bandsaw, chop saw, hydraulic press. Possess technical skills and abilities to work in a team environment with minimal supervision or direction. May be needed to perform duties around hazardous conditions while maintaining a safe working environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Accredited Minimum of High School Diploma or

GED. WORK HOURS

4/10-1st Shift.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

$30.00 - $50.00 per hour
