About Organimed LLC Organimed LLC is an FDA-registered dietary supplement manufacturer specializing in capsules, tablets, powders, and contract manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced Tablet Machine Operator / Production Line Mechanic to join our production team. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who can operate, troubleshoot, and maintain pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing equipment while ensuring GMP compliance. Responsibilities Set up, operate, adjust, and monitor tablet compression machines. Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Perform changeovers, tooling installation, and machine adjustments. Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment. Maintain tablet weight, hardness, thickness, friability, and appearance within specifications. Complete production documentation accurately following GMP requirements. Inspect equipment before and after production runs. Work closely with Quality and Production departments to ensure compliance with SOPs. Assist with installation and qualification of new equipment when needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with GMP standards. Qualifications 3+ years operating pharmaceutical or dietary supplement tablet presses. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience with tablet tooling, compression force adjustments, and production changeovers. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Ability to read equipment manuals and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with encapsulation equipment is a plus. Forklift experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Preferred Experience Pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing. High-speed tablet presses. Preventive maintenance programs.
