Full‑Time Job Overview The Industrial Mechanic supports food manufacturing and packaging operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. This role ensures safe, efficient production while meeting quality, safety, and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production, packaging, and facility equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to reduce downtime Install, align, and adjust conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drives Diagnose and repair electrical components including sensors, switches, relays, and control panels Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and manuals Complete minor fabrication, welding, and machining as needed Assist with installation, testing, and startup of new or modified equipment Document maintenance work using a CMMS system Follow safety, food safety, sanitation, and GMP standards Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams on root cause analysis and improvements Support line changeovers, calibrations, and process adjustments Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods experience preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; PLC experience preferred Ability to safely use tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work on feet for extended periods. Frequently lifts and carries up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in varying temperatures, shifts, weekends, and overtime as required. Why Work With Us?
