Custom Industrial Products, Inc. (CIP) is a manufacturer of Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRCs), safety gates, and material-handling equipment. We are seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position involving the mechanical assembly, basic electrical wiring, inspection, and shipment preparation of industrial VRC equipment.

Pay:

$22.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00

PM Lunch:

12:00-12:30

In Person Responsibilities

• Assemble VRC components and mechanical subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Assist with basic electrical wiring and installation of VRC components.
• Measure, align, fit, and inspect components for proper assembly.
• Operate a forklift and move materials throughout the production area.
• Prepare completed equipment and components for shipment.
• Complete basic production paperwork and light computer tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet production schedules. Qualifications
• 4+ years of mechanical or industrial assembly experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools.
• Motivated, ambitious, dependable, and able to work at a fast pace.
• Basic computer and administrative skills.
• Electrical wiring and forklift experience are a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions, measurements, and specifications accurately.

Physical & Work Environment This is a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment . Candidates must be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical activities such as bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Heavier materials may be moved with assistance or appropriate equipment.
