Job Summary We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Fiberglass Boat Builders to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and finishing high-quality fiberglass boats, ensuring each vessel meets our rigorous standards for durability, safety, and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional products that thrill our customers and uphold our reputation for excellence in boat manufacturing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced fabrication techniques and cutting-edge materials in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities Assemble boat components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment with precision and care. Apply fiberglass layup techniques, including infusion, cutting, shaping, and molding fiberglass sheets and fabrics according to schematics and technical drawings. Conduct heavy lifting and rigging tasks safely to move large components or finished sections into place. Follow detailed schematics and blueprints to ensure proper alignment of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to fiberglass fabrication, electrical systems, or mechanical assemblies. Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions. Proficiency with hand tools such as calipers, screwdrivers, pliers; power tools including drills and grinders; heavy lifting equipment; and maintenance tools. Ability to interpret blueprints accurately and follow detailed schematics closely.
