Our client, a commercial bakery manufacturer, is looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join a bakery production team. In this role, you won't just fix equipment you'll be a critical part of keeping operations running safely, and without interruption. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed bakery production equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues with a focus on minimizing downtime and improve preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reliability Respond to breakdowns with urgency and precision to keep production on track Document repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activity with accuracy Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all plant standards and procedures Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that reduce recurring issues

Requirements:

Minimum 36 months hands-on experience in industrial maintenance (food manufacturing preferred) Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills you know how to find the root cause, not just the symptom Knowledge of systems such as: PLCs Electrical controls HVAC or refrigeration Boilers Welding/fabrication (any of these is a plus not all required) Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of your work Comfortable in a physical role ( lifting up to 50 lbs , standing, bending, reaching) Be proficient in the use of a multimeter. Able to read and interpret electrical schematics. Ability to measure and troubleshoot Ohms, Amps, and Volts in motors. Possess electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
