• 37 an hour | Full-time | Overtime available Upper Limit Crane & Hoist Services is looking for an experienced Industrial Field Service Technician to join our growing team.

We specialize in overhead cranes and hoists, but previous crane experience is not required . If you have a strong background in industrial electrical or electromechanical troubleshooting, we can train you on the crane-specific side of the job. We're looking for someone who knows how to troubleshoot equipment—not just replace parts. What You'll Work On Our technicians inspect, troubleshoot, service and repair overhead cranes, hoists and related industrial equipment at manufacturing and industrial facilities throughout Florida.

Typical work includes:

Troubleshooting 3-phase electrical systems and control circuits Motors, contactors, relays, limit switches and brakes VFD troubleshooting Electrical and mechanical repairs Reading and troubleshooting from electrical schematics Using multimeters and diagnostic equipment

OSHA/ASME

crane and hoist inspections Preventive maintenance Equipment installations and modifications Documenting findings, repairs and recommendations Working directly with customer maintenance personnel Who We're Looking For You may be a good fit if your background is in: Industrial maintenance Industrial electrical Electromechanical maintenance Manufacturing maintenance Industrial machinery Field service Motor controls Overhead cranes and hoists Crane experience is a plus—not a requirement. We're especially interested in technicians who can approach an equipment problem, diagnose the cause and determine the proper repair. Compensation & Benefits $30.00

Our technicians service customers throughout Florida. Overnight travel is not routine . Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on customer needs and project location. Overtime and occasional breakdown/service work are part of the position. Requirements Industrial electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting experience Ability to safely work at heights and from aerial lifts Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to perform the physical requirements of industrial field service Dependable attendance and punctuality Professional communication with customers and coworkers Willingness to work overtime when required Experience with 3-phase power, motor controls, VFDs, electrical schematics, PLC-controlled equipment, welding/fabrication or overhead cranes is highly valued.
