Job Summary We are seeking a Cell Machine Technician to support solar manufacturing operations in Cartersville, GA . This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, industrial, construction, plumbing, or other skilled trades and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment. Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs, part replacements, and rebuilds. Assemble and disassemble equipment, tools, and modules according to SOPs and technical instructions. Use hand tools and basic mechanical equipment safely and effectively. Support production teams with equipment-related issues and remove stranded or scrapped wafers. Prepare maintenance kits, tools, parts, and materials for scheduled work. Communicate equipment issues, completed repairs, and outstanding tasks during shift pass-downs. Maintain accurate inventory of parts, hardware, and consumables. Follow all company SOPs, safety procedures, and manufacturing requirements . Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work safely on ladders, elevated platforms, and at heights greater than 20 feet when required. Wear all required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves, masks, and respirators when required. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, industrial, construction, plumbing, or related skilled trades . Experience using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and work independently. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work on equipment for extended periods. Ability and willingness to work at heights over 20 feet using required fall protection. Ability and willingness to wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary. Previous factory, industrial, fabrication, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience in solar cell, semiconductor, display manufacturing, or other high-precision manufacturing . Associate degree or technical diploma in a related field. Cleanroom or chemical-handling experience. Knowledge of automation, PLCs, robotics, or industrial controls . Experience modifying or troubleshooting PLC systems. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Spanish and/or Korean language skills are a plus. Physical & Work Environment This position requires working in a manufacturing environment that may include: Noise and moving machinery. Chemicals and cleanroom conditions. Standing and walking for extended periods. Lifting and transporting components up to 50 lbs. Working at heights and in confined spaces when required. Wearing cleanroom attire and required safety equipment.

Pay:

$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
