SHIFT - Mon -Thurs 6am to 4:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is part of a highly independent and professional production team assigned to the manufacturing of custom industrial door systems. The position requires a diverse set of mechanical skills and the ability to learn multiple products and process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use of Mig Welding equipment, able to achieve Certification to
AWS D1.1
Use of various hand operated tools, drills, saws and impact wrenches. Use of metric and standard measuring tapes and rulers Good mathematic abilities Ability to work within a team environment Ability to interpret 2D drawings and schematics Experience with basic computerized systems (Microsoft Office, E-Mail, Etc.) Ability to learn and follow standard work process Follows all publicized safety policies/procedures and other safety regulations applicable to the job. Use as instructed the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Attend and participate in all safety training, safety committee meetings, audits, and safety programs as assigned. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE HS
Diploma / GED is required Vocational or Trade school in the course study in mechanical or industrial fields of any kind is highly valued Previous Experience in Manufacturing, Assembly or Maintenance is a plus Previous Experience in an
ISO 9001
work environment is a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Working on the production floor in an manufacturing plant Four Days a week at 10 hours per day Standing / on feet for approximately 90% of workday Must be able to lift, bend and stoop Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs on a regular basis CIV123
Pay:
$22.00 - $32.00 per hour
