- Troubleshoots and performs repairs on a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
- Installs machinery and equipment associated with manufacturing, facility and plant systems
- Fabricates and modifies machinery components as directed
- Participates in preventative maintenance tasks and procedures
- Performs Engine, Transmission, and differential Rebuilds work as needed What you have:
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in an industrial setting
- Experience with Stick and Mig Welding (Demonstration required)
- Experience cutting and torching
- Experience using drill press and hand drill
- Experience using a pipe threader
- Experience with broaching and keyways
- Experience with straight edge machine alignment and belt tensioning
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and steam systems
- Required to work from heights up to 120ft and inside non-permit required confined spaces
- Required to work in weather extremes
- Must have and keep a valid driver's license
- Must have hand tools
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and overtime with little or no notice
- Must be able to move oneself freely throughout a manufacturing facility
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, kneel, and assume awkward positions as is dictated by worksite
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift plant equipment weighing in excess of 100 pounds
- Must have the ability to read and write in Basic English
