Temp-to-Hire (after 90 days) Job Summary We are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a client manufacturing facility in Winder, GA. This role performs general maintenance, welding, fabrication, and electrical troubleshooting on plant machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude and is comfortable diagnosing issues across mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Responsibilities Read and interpret drawings and written instructions Weld most materials as needed for repairs and fabrication Support Continuous Improvement needs in areas of fabrication Use machine shop equipment including lathes, milling machines, band saws, oxy-acetylene torches, grinders, and hand tools Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels Install and upgrade electrical components and wiring according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications Use measuring instruments to verify tolerances and specifications Fabricate guarding for plant equipment Work with the CI Manager and Safety Manager to audit equipment Participate in Continuous Improvement activities as needed Operate a fork truck, scissor lifts, and boom lifts Modify equipment, carts, tools, or other manufacturing items as needed Assist the Maintenance Manager with preventive maintenance activities as needed Perform general clean-up activities Perform other duties as assigned Must Haves General maintenance experience Ability to read and interpret drawings and written instructions Welding skills across most materials Ability to use machine shop equipment (lathes, milling machines, band saws, oxy-acetylene torch, grinders, hand tools) Ability to use most measuring instruments Ability to read and speak English Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally Availability for Monday?
