Opportunity Overview Position Detail Information Job Title Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Location West Liberty, IA Shift 1st Hourly Wage Range $23.00 to $30.00+ per hour depending on experience Shift Premium None Sign On Bonus $3,000 Sign On Bonus Available Job Summary We are looking for someone that loves to work with their hands and troubleshoot machines when they break down. The position for Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for supporting production by maintaining operation of machinery and mechanical equipment along with experience on automated equipment. Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical systems in order to maintain and repair equipment. Key Responsibilities Complete daily preventative maintenance and daily tasks. Assist and become an active member of the HAZMAT team. Read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams and technical repair manuals. Able to diagnose and troubleshoot automated equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner. Apply knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions applicable to maintenance work. Operate lifts and material handling tools as needed. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment as needed. Able to adapt to a fast paced work environment Job Requirements

Schedule:

•Work 12 hour shifts, 7 of 14 days each two week pay period.

Sample schedule is as follows:

- Week 1: Work Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday; Off Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday Week 2: Work Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday; Off Sunday, Monday Thursday, Friday May be asked to work additional shifts as needed.

Experience:

Working on automated (PLC's, Vision Systems) equipment, Textor/Weber/Multivac equipment, 480V, pneumatics is preferred. Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus. Ability to read prints/schematics/drawings. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical field in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred. Must have computer skills to communicate and process data, preferred experience with CMMS, L2L, Google Suite.

Knowledge:

•This position does require candidates to read and write English with the ability to comprehend basic maintenance manuals. Basic knowledge of hydraulics, troubleshooting including mechanical and electrical/electronic, PLCs, welding/fabrication, AC/DC controls, motor controls, 3 phase wiring, plumbing, conveyors, pneumatic systems and more.

Age:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Authorization:

Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.

Education:

Associates Degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.

Physical Abilities:

- Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist. Must be able to climb ladders and do work on aerial work platforms as needed.

Environmental:

Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.

Flexibility:

Must be able to work overtime as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.

Must practice good personal hygiene. Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
