Responsibilities:

Manage endtoend assembly of prototype projects, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders. Conduct advanced component design work, including significant sheet metal modifications and complex routing. Create accurate task estimates and timeframes for quotes, overseeing project budgets and profitability. Lead project postmortem analysis for continuous improvement and future customer project efficiency. Mentor junior and midlevel technicians, implementing best practices and safety standards.

Skills and Knowledge:

Expert in mechanical assembly, advanced use of CAD software, and troubleshooting complex systems. Strong understanding of materials, machining, and tolerance requirements for highprecision prototypes. Advanced experience with system controls and automation technologies, with fluency in hydraulic and pneumatic applications.

Experience:

Associate degree in a technical field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Security clearance may be needed. 7+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, with leadership in highprecision or prototyping environments.
