19.40 Assembly Mechanic - 3rd Shift The Assembly Mechanic works under the supervision of the Assembly Supervisor to assemble unit sections and sub-assemblies according to company standards. This role may work independently or as part of a team in a manufacturing environment. This is a long-term, full-time position that pays $19.40/hr. Key Responsibilities Assemble parts and components into completed unit sections and sub-assemblies Follow work instructions, production orders, and shop drawings to meet quality standards Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively Identify and correct mistakes with a positive, continuous improvement mindset Participate in team efforts focused on safety, quality, and process improvement Meet productivity, safety, and quality targets, including maintaining 90% efficiency Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and movement throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Qualifications Ability to read production orders and basic shop drawings Basic shop math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions) Ability to measure using a tape measure to 1/16" Familiarity with hand and power tools Ability to operate an overhead crane after training High school diploma or GED preferred Express Employment Professionals offers a full benefits package to all our associates.
