• Must be willing to work a fixed or rotating 24/7 schedule Shifts may be 8-hour or 12-hour rotations 8-hour shifts : Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.; 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.; and 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. 12-hour rotating shifts : 3:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m.; 2:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.; 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; and 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. Key Responsibilities for General Mechanic role: Design, fabricate, install, repair, modify, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and heavy equipment Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and structures Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Utilize welding, rigging, pipe fitting, and millwright techniques to complete maintenance projects Safely operate various hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and testing devices Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications Adhere to all safety procedures and quality standards Minimum Qualifications for

General Mechanic:

Minimum of 5 years of Journeyman-level experience or equivalent experience maintaining heavy industrial equipment Current General Mechanics should provide proof of experience and/or a copy of their Journeyman's Card with their application Ability to successfully complete: A comprehensive online and hands-on skills assessment, Physical examination, Drug screening, and Background check A U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Visa sponsorship not offered) Demonstrated working knowledge of: Welding Machine repair Millwright work Hydraulics Sheet metal fabrication Pipe fitting Blueprint reading and interpretation Preferred Qualifications for General Mechanic role: Graduate of an approved apprenticeship program, formal technical training beyond high school, or possession of a Journeyman's Card (Department of Labor Certificate or equivalent) Willingness to complete skills testing and hands-on demonstrations of competency Successful candidates will be subject to a probationary period not to exceed six months

License/Certification:

Journeyman License (Required) Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. This position requires access to controlled technology as defined by the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
