Job Description
Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist Looking for a hands-on Maintenance professional with with hands-on Maintenance with experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility. This is a food & beverage manufacturing facility on the west side of Indianapolis. You would work on the beverage side with electrical, mechanical, some plumbing and general maintenance responsibilities. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems involving wiring, electrical components, switches, panels and facility electrical systems. Troubleshoot mechanical problems with bearings, shafts, pumps, servo arms etc. Perform preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and minor repairs on equipment Diagnose equipment problems, identify root cause, make some repairs. Support preventative maintenance, support the priorities of production team, and improve reliability of equipment. Qualifications 5 or more years of electrical maintenance, industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience. Both electrical troubleshooting and Mechanical troubleshooting experience (gained in industrial or manufacturing setting) - this plant has electrical panels, pumps for beverage plumbing, other equipment that is both electrical and mechanical. Perform troubleshooting, repair and work with preventive maintenance Past backgrounds as Industrial or Manufacturing Electrician or Technician, Maintenance Mechanic or Journeyman Electrician - looking for hands-on Maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing Understanding of PLC's is useful, but is not required.
