Our products integrate mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, battery power, and advanced control technologies to produce safe, efficient, and reliable machines. Our most well-known machines are our diesel powered 40,000 lb. underground cable puller trailers, our battery-diesel hybrid wireline winches, and our 1-Megawatt battery powered hybrid frac assist units. We're looking for a hands-on builder who is comfortable taking ownership of their work and thinking independently on the shop floor. Because Envoltz designs and manufactures all of its own equipment in-house, our technicians work exclusively from engineering drawings with no reference unit and no instruction manual. Our equipment is one of a kind — while others may build something similar, nothing is quite like what we produce. Every machine we build is different from the last. Designs evolve, engineering mistakes happen, and no two builds go exactly the same way. That's not a flaw in our process — it's the nature of building cutting-edge equipment at the front of our industry. We need someone who understands that, embraces it, and brings a problem-solving mindset to work every single day. Just as important as technical ability is communication. When you hit a wall — whether it's a drawing that doesn't add up, a part that doesn't fit, or a process that isn't working — we need to know about it. Problems that get communicated get solved. Problems that get buried get worse. We want someone who is confident enough to speak up, ask questions, and work through issues openly with the team. That kind of honesty is what keeps our builds moving and our equipment improving with every machine we produce. Requirements 0-5 years of experience in hydraulic systems, mechanical assembly, heavy construction equipment, or a related trade Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings — this is a hard requirement for this role A genuine willingness to learn — we will teach the right person everything they need to know The communication skills and confidence to speak up when something isn't right — on the drawings, on the floor, or anywhere in the process The maturity to work through engineering changes, design revisions, and unexpected challenges without frustration Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and work independently Hands-on mechanical hobbies or experience (automotive, fabrication, equipment repair, welding, etc.) Comfortable using hand tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a shop environment Valid driver's license preferred Responsibilities Assemble custom hydraulic equipment and systems directly from engineering drawings Install and plumb hydraulic components including cylinders, pumps, motors, valve banks, hoses, and fittings Perform pressure testing and system verification on completed assemblies Proactively communicate drawing discrepancies, fit-up issues, or assembly challenges to engineering and production management as they arise Adapt to mid-build design changes and engineering revisions as part of the normal workflow Collaborate with engineers and production team members to work through issues on the floor Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and any deviations from drawings Uphold safety standards and contribute to a clean, organized shop environment All other responsibilities as determined by Production Management Nice to have Experience with mobile hydraulics (pumps, valve banks, cartridge valves, cylinders, motors) Familiarity with hydraulic schematics Experience on heavy construction or mobile equipment Basic understanding of electrical systems Job type Full-time Monday to Friday in person Pay $20-$24/hour Benefits 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Work location In person Please share a good email and phone number to contact you at, should you be selected for an interview.
