Job Summary

DPP is seeking a Sheet Metal Production Mechanic II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.

Work location: Onsite in Lake Charles, LA

Duration:

12 months

Shift:

Must be able to work Mon-Thurs 6:00AM-4:42PM or Mon-Thurs 4:00PM-2:42AM

Work authorization: US Citizen

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair production sheet metal products and equipment such as control boxes, drainpipes, ventilators, and furnace casings in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Make sheet metal layouts, set up and operate fabricating machinery, shape metal over anvils, blocks, or forms, and inspect assemblies and installations for conformance to specifications.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Fiberglass experience
