Job Description

The Tool Technician I under strict supervision, performs maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment in the application for down-hole tools.
Pay Rate:
Up to $17.00/hour, depending on experience.
Assignment Length:
6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Shift Details:
40-hours per week
Responsibilities:
Assemble and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and various production components. Perform manual, repetitive tasks including cabling, basic equipment maintenance, and mechanical assembly/disassembly. Manage real-time inventory updates and maintain highly organized supply stores. Ensure all units are cleaned, fully restocked, and prepared for immediate operational use.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred. Hands-on experience in a mechanical, electrical, or industrial environment. Experience performing manual, repetitive work such as assembly, disassembly, cabling, and basic equipment maintenance preferred. Prior oilfield, wireline, or tool shop experience is an asset but not required. Mechanical & Electrical Aptitude. Attention to Detail & Quality Discipline . Comfortable working outside, cleaning equipment, updating inventories, restocking units.
