Description:

As a Production Set-up Mechanic - 3rd shift, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety or routine manufacturing functions in one or more of the following areas : Setting up, calibrating and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery. Assisting in resolving routine manufacturing equipment related problems affecting daily operations. Recording maintenance activities in Cal PM software application. Communicating line performance at daily huddles. Required education , skills and experience to have success in this role : HS diploma or GED equivalent Strong troubleshooting skills Good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic fluidic and basic electronic control systems Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities Ability to follow and adhere to written work instructions Good verbal and written communication skills Must be comfortable working autonomously or in small groups Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience include : Basic knowledge of machine shop equipment Experience with computers, including office applications 1-3 years' experience setting up, maintaining and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery.
