core principles: Safety, People, Profitability, New Business Generation •Apply online today and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application• Job Description The Estimator is responsible for: Leading development of mechanical estimates for water/wastewater projects Attending pre-bid meetings and coordinate with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors Quantifying labor, material, and equipment costs Evaluating subcontractor proposals and comparing scopes Developing bid schedules and monitoring bid progress Leading estimate reviews and project turnover activities Visiting job sites regularly to support estimating accuracy and maintain field knowledge Reporting to the Estimating Manager Working alongside Civil Estimator and Structural Estimator Supported by a Junior Estimator and Estimating Coordinator No direct reports MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The right candidate has the following qualifications: 5-10 years of process mechanical estimating experience in water/wastewater construction or related heavy civil infrastructure Mechanical estimating experience required Process piping, millwright, plumbing, pipefitting, industrial equipment, and water/wastewater experience preferred Project values:
