Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Elevator Cab Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing standard and custom elevator interiors, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications. Your expertise will help deliver smooth, safe, and aesthetically pleasing elevator interiors that enhance building functionality and user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to remodeling existing elevator systems, contributing directly to the safety and convenience of building occupants. Responsibilities State and/or city issued Mechanic's license as required. The ability to obtain a license within 45 days. Minimum of 4 years of elevator experience. Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes. Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school training in elevator education. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately install elevator cabs according to specifications Measure and cut building materials precisely using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools to ensure proper fit and finish Install fixtures, glass panels, cabinetry, and other interior components within elevator cabs with attention to detail Valid driver's license. Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on interior finishing or specialized installation work such as cabinetry or fixture installation Strong knowledge of construction management principles and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and tape measures. Ability to follow detailed blueprint specifications and technical instructions precisely Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or project teams Physical capability to perform ladder use safely and handle heavy materials during installation tasks Knowledge of construction estimating processes is advantageous but not mandatory Join our team as an Elevator Cab Installer and be part of a vibrant environment where your craftsmanship makes a tangible difference! Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
