Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Boiler Helper and be a vital part of maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable boiler systems. In this energetic role, you will assist skilled technicians in operating, repairing, and maintaining low-pressure boilers and related equipment. Your enthusiasm for mechanical systems and commitment to safety will help ensure optimal performance of complex industrial boilers, supporting our mission to deliver consistent, high-quality energy solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to essential operations. Duties Assist with the operation and monitoring of boilers, including low-pressure boilers, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently Support boiler mechanics with routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and equipment inspections Help interpret technical drawings, schematics, and control system diagrams related to boiler operation and repair Aid in troubleshooting mechanical issues using engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of equipment failures Participate in welding and fabrication tasks necessary for boiler repairs or modifications Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in compliance with safety standards Support the installation and commissioning of new boiler systems and associated mechanical equipment Experience Basic understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems repair Prior experience working with industrial boilers or mechanical systems is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and building automation systems is advantageous Hands-on experience with mechanic work or field service roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position Knowledge of equipment maintenance practices is a plus Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently in complex machinery Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and support operational needs This role is paid and offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to grow their expertise in industrial maintenance, boiler operation, and mechanical troubleshooting.
