Plymouth, MI Job Details Full-time $800 - $875 a week 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Automotive assembly Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Heavy Vehicle Assembly Technician We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined technician to assemble and modify heavy vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate has experience using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and working in a manufacturing or mechanical environment. Responsibilities Assemble vehicles and mechanical components according to drawings and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, grinders, and other shop equipment. Work with the engineering and production teams to complete projects. Troubleshoot assembly issues and suggest improvements. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform other shop duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5+ years of mechanical assembly, heavy equipment, diesel, automotive, or industrial manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Experience with hand and power tools. High School Diploma or GED required. Physical Requirements Stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday. Work safely around heavy equipment and machinery. We are looking for someone who is reliable, works well independently and with a team, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in producing quality work.
