Job Description

Growing automation components engineering & manufacturing company has an opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Direct-hire position with competitive benefits!
Duties:
Design and develop custom electro-mechanical components used in automated machines Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation Perform tolerance stack-ups, material selections, and engineering analysis Support prototype builds, testing, and design validation activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical engineering, manufacturing, quality, etc.) to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems Participate in supplier discussions, reviewing feasibility and production readiness of new or revised components
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar 6+ years of experience in mechanical design or product development MUST have experience designing components (not total machine design) Strong 3D CAD skills (Solidworks preferred) Understanding of GD&T symbols Experience designing motion control components a plus (gears, bearings, actuators, etc.) Experience performing load analysis preferred Familiarity with FEA tools or simulation software Understanding of manufacturing and quality engineering processes - includes experience working with cross-functional teams
Salary:
$100-130K
