Job Description
Penmac Staffing is now accepting applications for Mechanical Assemblers in the Camdenton area. In this team-based environment, the Mechanical Assembler will perform assembly of mechanical systems and integration into proprietary original equipment manufactured at the Camdenton location.
This position involves complex mechanical assembly in an assemble-to-order production environment. Systems are highly customized and built to customer specifications, with no automated production line work.
Schedule & PayMonday through Friday, Occasional Saturday'sStarting wage: $17.00 per hour Pre-employment screenings required ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical systems using written assembly drawings, diagrams, and BOMs (Bills of Materials) Complete assemblies within standard production times and quality expectations Perform mechanical measurements and assembly processes Operate pneumatic hand tools and bench power tools Follow torque requirements for hand tools Read and understand standard and metric measuring devices Work effectively in a team-oriented production environment Use basic PC skills in a Windows-based operating environment QualificationsStrong communication skills Attention to detail Ability to read assembly drawings and diagrams Understanding of mechanical assembly techniques and measurements Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
