The role Assemble, align, and test complex mechanical components and systems per specifications and prints. Inspect builds, diagnose faults, and implement fixes to achieve peak performance and reliability. Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to enhance assembly workflows and inform design changes. Provide hands-on training and guidance to junior technicians. Document assembly steps, measurements, and quality outcomes thoroughly and accurately. Follow safety procedures rigorously and maintain a neat, efficient work area. Contribute to continuous improvement to increase throughput and limit waste. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical assembly preferred. At least 5 years assembling mechanical systems, including complex or multi-technology builds. Strong command of mechanical principles, tools, fixtures, and assembly techniques. Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Exceptional problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.
