Our company is a successful design build entity that provides restaurateurs with high-quality service. To ensure success as an installer, you must be able to work in a fast-moving commercial foodservice industry while completing projects safely, precisely and timely. An outstanding installer will anticipate problems, diagnose issues, and provide practical, solution‑oriented recommendations to ensure long‑term performance and avoid future complications.
Installer Responsibilities:
Prepare self for outlined tasks by ensuring all tools/ supplies are on hand to complete Follow directions by supervisor and utilize company provided training to complete installation tasks Uncrating, staging, and protecting equipment; handling and moving units safely Positioning and installing commercial kitchen equipment according to design specifications, site conditions, client requirements, and approved layout plans. This process integrates setting, leveling, assembling, and securing of cook lines, refrigeration units, walk-ins, exhaust hoods, shelving, and ware-washing systems Reading and working from kitchen equipment drawings, cut sheets, and spec books Verifying installed equipment against the equipment schedule and flagging damage, shortages, or back-orders Keeping the work area clean, safe, and on schedule alongside other trades Testing equipment to review functionality/ perform equipment start-ups. Advising clients with maintenance-related advice.
Installer Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Driver's License Physically fit and capable of lifting 100 lbs. Comfortable reading equipment plans, shop drawings, and manufacturer spec sheets Solid mechanical knowledge with hand tools Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew with minimal supervision Preferred but not required:
OSHA 10/30
certification Familiarity with basic electrical/plumbing rough-in coordination Ability to travel to future project sites
