Job Description

Paid Preceptors Needed in Missouri (Family Medicine & Psychiatric NP Students Waiting on YOU) MatchNP, LLC is a clinical placement agency on a mission: making sure every NP student gets the hands-on training they need to become the provider someone's community is counting on. Right now, we have Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health NP students right here in Missouri who are in the final, most critical year of their education. They are pre-screened, motivated, and ready. What they don't have yet is a preceptor. That preceptor could be you. Think back to the clinician who shaped how you practice. The one who took the time. You have the chance to be that person for someone else and get paid to do it while you continue your regular work. What precepting with MatchNP looks like: You keep doing your job. Students come alongside you observing, participating, and learning from the work you're already doing every day.
We handle everything else:
the paperwork, the affiliation agreements, the student screening, and 24/7 support throughout the rotation. You just show up and be the experienced clinician you already are. Who we're looking for: — MD, DO, NP, or PA with active licensure (1+ year in practice) — Currently working in Family Medicine, Primary Care, OBGYN, Pediatrics, SUD, Neonatal, Speciality clinic, Acute Care, Urgent Care, or Outpatient Psychiatry / Mental Health — Based in Missouri or licensed to practice in Missouri — A clinical setting that permits students (not sure? Apply anyway and we'll figure it out together) — Previous precepting experience is a plus, but absolutely not required. We'll mentor you through it.
What you get:
✔ Stipend paid for your time — this is real, additional income for work you're already doing ✔ Add preceptor/educator credentials to your CV — it matters for career advancement ✔ Flexible schedule — you set the availability, we match accordingly ✔ 1-2 students at a time, on your terms ✔ Full paperwork and coordination support — we simplify everything ✔ The kind of professional fulfillment that's hard to find anywhere else ✔ New to precepting? We provide onboarding, mentoring, and educational materials to set you up for success Our students are pre-screened and matched to you based on your specialty, setting, and location. You will never be handed a student who isn't the right fit. Missouri has a real shortage of preceptors right now. Students' graduation timelines and the communities they'll go on to serve depend on providers like you stepping forward. If you've ever thought about giving back to the profession, this is how. Apply today. A student in Missouri is waiting.
