$24-26 / hour Job Description OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. This vital role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment to ensure continuous production and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical and electrical expertise, including experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, HVAC/R systems, and industrial wiring. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in industrial maintenance and customer service.
Night Shift:
2nd shift- Mon-Fri 330pm-1200am. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues utilizing schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills. Repair and maintain electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage circuits, using appropriate tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Conduct welding tasks specific to welding standards, ensuring safety and quality. Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts to access elevated or hard-to-reach machinery. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory levels. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Support technical sales efforts by providing expert advice on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, industrial electrician practices, and HVAC/R systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and control panel layouts for effective repairs. Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical circuits, and HVAC/R systems. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician practices. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking. Skilled in welding techniques specific to standards. Ability to use precision measuring instruments for accurate diagnostics. Strong analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently. Experience working with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems safely. Background in field service operations with a focus on customer service excellence. Military experience in technical or maintenance roles is considered an asset.
