Build critical bioprocess systems. Make an impact. ABEC is seeking a System Service Technician to install and modify equipment at customer facilities alongside a skilled team of service professionals. This hands-on role combines mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, customer interaction and project execution. You'll help bring complex systems online while ensuring work is completed safely, professionally and on schedule. What you'll do Install, modify and troubleshoot ABEC systems at customer sites Coordinate daily activities and project expectations with customers Guide team members through technical, procedural and material-related challenges Support project scoping, labor estimates and process-improvement efforts Report progress, materials and scheduling needs to project management Complete system walkdowns, resolve outstanding items and support customer handover Maintain ABEC tools and equipment in safe, certified working condition Participate in project reviews and coordination meetings as needed What you'll bring Mechanical assembly experience Ability to work safely in manufacturing and customer-site environments Strong communication and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel up to 80%, including some local travel Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work involving lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and reaching Ability to wear required personal protective equipment You'll stand out with Electrical assembly experience, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge or prior continuous-improvement experience.
