Position Overview:

We are seeking a mechanically-minded individual to fill an Engineering Technician role at our Greenwood manufacturing facility. If you love tearing machines down, optimizing production workflows, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and have a strong understanding of how parts fit together, we want you on our team. You will bridge the gap between abstract design and real-world floor production.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize mechanical components and production machinery on the facility floor. Identify bottlenecks in the manufacturing process and implement physical layout or tool improvements. Assist with equipment installation, routine preventative maintenance scheduling, and manufacturing workflows. Create clear, practical standard operating procedures (SOPs) or work standards for equipment operators. [1]

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Mechanical Aptitude:

Strong proven background in troubleshooting physical machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, or mechanical assemblies. CNC Knowledge (Huge Plus): Experience with CNC machine setups, operations, minor G-code adjustments, or programming is highly desired.

Tool Competency:

Familiarity with standard manufacturing measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and interpreting blueprint schematics.

Problem-Solving Mindset:

A strong track record of resolving mechanical issues directly on a production line.
