Job Description
PMR Catalytic Converter Recycling is a leader in the industrial recycling industry, known for its excellent service and innovative recovery technology. Over the past 30 years, we have established a strong presence with 3 processing locations across North America, committed to sustainable practices and technological advancement. As we expand our operations with a brand-new facility in Gastonia, North Carolina, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Industrial Mechanic! Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and industrial equipment. Diagnose mechanical breakdowns and carry out the necessary repairs. Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and motorized systems. Perform welding work (MIG, TIG, and arc welding) to repair or modify equipment. Ensure the proper operation of conveyors, pumps, motors, and other equipment. Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical schematics. Comply with safety standards and company procedures. Collaborate with the production team to optimize equipment performance. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial mechanics. Experience with welding (MIG, TIG, and arc). Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and autonomy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Conditions & Benefits All tools will be provided by the employer.
