401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Due to increased project demands, an original equipment manufacturing company based in Fairfield, New Jersey has an immediate opening for an Industrial Machinery - Mechanical Assembler / Builder Responsibilities include: Mechanical assembly of parts, sub-assemblies and complete machines using hand and power tools. Quality verification of parts throughout the assembly process. Cutting, fabricating and general preparation of raw materials to be used in other component manufacturing processes. Packing, palletizing or crating finished machinery for final shipment.
Minimum requirements include:
High School Diploma or GED. 2 years of professional experience. Good eye-hand coordination and mechanical inclination. Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics. Knowledge of common mechanical components, including: fasteners, bearings, gearing and raw materials. Ability to install pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems per schematics or directions.
