40-70+ Hours Per Week Byers Industrial Services is seeking 2-3 experienced Industrial Mechanical Foremen to lead crews on industrial construction, equipment installation, maintenance, and plant projects throughout Southern New Jersey. This is a working foreman position requiring an extensive hands-on background in millwright work, machinery installation, precision alignment, pipefitting, welding, fabrication, and rigging. We're looking for leaders who can successfully manage crews while remaining technically proficient in the field. Primary Responsibilities Lead and supervise mechanical crews on industrial construction and maintenance projects. Coordinate manpower, daily production, and project execution. Install, set, align, level, grout, and commission industrial machinery and equipment. Perform precision alignment of rotating equipment and machinery. Install and repair conveyors and conveyor systems. Direct and participate in heavy rigging operations, equipment setting, and machinery relocations. Fabricate structural components, equipment supports, and miscellaneous steel. Install, modify, and repair industrial piping systems. Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and mechanical layouts. Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents to maintain project schedules. Maintain quality workmanship while enforcing OSHA safety standards. Mentor crews and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
