Required as needed Union Beverage Packers, LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our 3rd shift operation. This position helps keep our production equipment, machinery, and plant systems running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment and plant machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to reduce downtime. Support preventive maintenance programs. Read and understand mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. Assist with equipment installation, start-up, repair, and modification. Work with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial equipment systems. Follow all safety, GMP, food safety, quality, and company rules. Communicate with Maintenance, Production, Quality, Sanitation, contractors, and vendors as needed.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Maintenance, mechanical, industrial equipment, or related technical experience. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work 3rd shift and a minimum of 48 hours per week, including Weekend. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around production equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, push, and pull during the shift. Ability to work safely in warm manufacturing environments and wear required PPE.
Preferred but not required:
PLC knowledge. Beverage, food manufacturing, or production experience. Electrical, welding, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, or equipment repair experience. Forklift or equipment license, if applicable.
