Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule upcoming tasks. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repair high-voltage systems safely while adhering to electrical safety standards. Operate welding equipment such as stick welders for equipment fabrication or repair tasks; perform precision welding to ensure durability and safety. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to identify system faults and implement effective solutions. Support engineering troubleshooting efforts by analyzing complex mechanical or electrical failures and proposing corrective actions. Use industrial mechanic experience to maintain and repair diverse machinery including HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment. Assist with technical sales activities by providing expert insights into equipment capabilities and maintenance requirements when needed. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics reading for accurate diagnostics. Hands-on experience with welding techniques including stick welding; ability to fabricate or repair metal components reliably. Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, high voltage electrical systems, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical troubleshooting techniques. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance tasks at elevated heights. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. Knowledge of CMMS software for effective work order management; experience with industrial electrician practices highly preferred. Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively within diverse teams and document technical procedures clearly.
