In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing elevator systems and related equipment across various facilities. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on elevator systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters. Repair or replace faulty components including motors, controllers, switches, sensors, and wiring to ensure optimal performance. Conduct electrical diagnostics and equipment troubleshooting using advanced analysis skills to identify issues quickly and accurately. Operate specialized equipment such as scissor lifts for safe access during maintenance tasks. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting manuals to facilitate repairs. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and service history. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage systems (up to 600V), electrical codes, and industry regulations. Utilize welding techniques such as stick welding for structural repairs when necessary. Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades or modifications involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, or HVAC/R systems integrated with elevator operations. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial mechanic within manufacturing facilities or similar environments. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and control circuits. Hands-on experience with equipment repair involving motors, controllers, sensors, switches, and wiring harnesses. Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision measuring instruments used in maintenance tasks. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely for elevated work tasks. Experience with CMMS software for work order management is preferred. Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems (up to 600V) along with proper use of voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters for diagnostics. Skilled in welding techniques such as stick welding for structural repairs when required. Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with engineering troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex issues efficiently.
