Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electromechanical Technician to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and supporting the electrical and mechanical systems that keep our manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a closely related field, along with at least one year of relevant hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will initially work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM while completing training and certification. Upon successful completion of the required training and certification process, the position will transition to our rotating 3-day-on/3-day-off schedule consisting of 12-hour shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. We are also open to candidates outside the Albuquerque area and willing to discuss relocation assistance for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electromechanical equipment and automated manufacturing systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective actions
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, drives, control circuits, and other electrical components
• Perform mechanical repairs involving bearings, shafts, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, belts, pulleys, rollers, and drive systems
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery and related equipment
• Assist with installation, assembly, alignment, and commissioning of new or modified equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Use electrical diagnostic equipment, including multimeters and other testing instruments
• Use precision measurement and alignment tools as required
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely corrective repairs to minimize production downtime
• Identify recurring equipment issues and assist with implementing long-term corrective solutions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete assigned work orders
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety requirements, and company policies
• Collaborate with machine operators, production supervisors, engineers, and other maintenance personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications
• Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field required
• Minimum of one year of relevant electromechanical, industrial maintenance, automation, or manufacturing experience required
• Working knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical components and circuits using appropriate testing equipment
• Understanding of motors, drives, sensors, relays, switches, and industrial control components
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, including bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
• Ability and willingness to transition to a 12-hour rotating 3-day-on/3-day-off schedule following successful training and certification Preferred Skills

This period is designed to provide hands-on training and allow the technician to become familiar with our equipment, processes, safety requirements, and maintenance standards. Upon successful completion of training and certification, the technician will transition to a rotating 3-day-on/3-day-off schedule working 12-hour shifts. The permanent rotational schedule may include day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. What We Offer
