You don't need pump experience If you've spent years as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, ag equipment mechanic, or industrial maintenance mechanic, you already have most of what this job takes. Precision measurement. Seals and bearings. Hydraulics. Diagnosing something that's broken without a manual telling you where to look. Reading a drawing. Pumps are their own thing, and there's real technical depth to learn. But we'd rather teach pumps to a mechanic who knows how to fix things than teach fundamentals to someone who's only ever read about them. If you've rebuilt engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, or heavy equipment, apply. We'll train you on the pump side, and we pay for the manufacturer certifications. You'll spend much of your time in the shop rebuilding, repairing, and testing centrifugal pumps and related equipment. Now, let's talk about what you'll be doing: Help establish, organize, and operate Rhino Pumps' Nevada shop. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment. Manage shop inventory, tools, equipment, and materials. Coordinate shop workflow and prepare equipment for field service. Demonstrate knowledge of best piping practices and assemble piping and valves according to industry standards. Install mechanical seals in turbine and end suction pumps with precision. Perform teardown, diagnosis, repair, and reassembly of pumps and related equipment. Tear down and repair electric motors. Couple and laser align motors for optimal performance. Test repaired equipment to ensure reliability and quality. Assist with field service, installations, and customer support as needed. Let's talk money: Let's be honest - we all work to pay the bills and enjoy life outside of work. $28 - $35 an hour, depending on experience. This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Benefits 401(k) match: 100% of your first 3%, then 50% of the next 2%. Up to 4% of pay.

HSA match:

dollar for dollar, up to $84.60 per pay period. About $2,200 a year (requires a qualifying high-deductible health plan).

Colonial Life supplemental coverage:

up to $100 per month toward the policy you pick from our available options: accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness, cancer, dental, vision, or life. $1,200 a year. 80 hours of paid time off. 80 hours rolls over to next year, and we pay out anything above that. Paid holidays. Paid manufacturer training and certification. Shop service truck for field calls. $200 boot allowance every 2 years. On-call premium. Per diem on overnight travel.
