We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our growing team. You will take charge of a preventative maintenance program and perform mechanical, electrical, and assembly tasks on equipment such as water control gates and hydraulic-driven hoists that support major construction projects. Qualifications Proven experience with machinery maintenance, including assembly and wiring of hydraulic, actuator-driven hoists, and water control equipment Ability to read schematics and perform electrical wiring Experience with precision tools and mechanical systems Comfortable working on scaffolding and other elevated platforms Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and managing multiple projects Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities Ensure the proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment in the shop Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime Perform assembly and wiring on hydro-mechanical equipment like dam gates, wire ropes, and actuator-driven hoists Use tools like calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators for precision work Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and follow written instructions for assembling components Inspect, align, and assemble parts such as gears, bearings, shafts, and motors for water control systems Operate overhead and jib cranes safely and efficiently Perform conduit installation using hand benders and fittings Maintain compliance with OSHA and EPA safety standards Clean tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe, organized workspace Education & Experience Vocational/Technical training preferred, or equivalent experience Experience in industrial maintenance, fabrication shops, or similar environments is preferred Apply today and join a company where you can build a stable, long-term career.
