Akron Gear & Engineering, Inc. 501 Morgan Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44311 The open assembler position at Akron Gear is for assembling industrial gear reducers. It involves assembling large industrial machinery and is not an assembly line position. We are looking for someone who has a strong mechanical aptitude, is self-motivated, stays on task and is detail oriented.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Read and understand blueprints Read micrometers and dial indicators Use overhead cranes and forklift/pallet jack to move parts Use hand tools and power tools Maintain a neat and organized work area Experience is preferred
