Industrial Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, 2nd Shift Steel company located in Stow, OH seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to perform skilled mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance work on a wide range of industrial equipment. This is a full-time position where you will earn $24.52 - $36.25 an hour, depending on your experience and skill level. You will be required to train on the 1st shift, and once training is complete you will move to the 2nd shift and receive a $1 increase in pay. Schedules will vary based on maintenance and business needs. The following shift start times are available: 1st

3:00PM or 4:00PM As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment.
You will also:
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on overhead cranes, forklifts, boom lifts, powered industrial trucks, and facility systems. Execute welding and fabrication tasks, as needed. Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment that operates up to 600 VAC. Support facilities maintenance including building systems, lighting, air compressors, plumbing, and general infrastructure repairs. Maintain accurate maintenance records, support continuous improvement, and follow all safety and quality procedures. You will also be provided with the following personal protective equipment upon hire: Safety glasses Hard hats Gloves Cut resistance sleeves. maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment. We also require you to have: Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated skills in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting, welding, fabrication, and diagnostics. The ability to read and use precision measurement tools and apply data to mechanical adjustments or repairs. Experience with PLC‑controlled machinery (diagnostics, component replacement, fault troubleshooting). Experience with steel processing equipment is a plus. Safety Toe Boots with metatarsal guards.
