Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Location:
Toledo, OH Pay:
$32.99/hour starting | Increases at 6 months and 1 year, up to $36.03/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM | Straight Day Shift Join a Leading Manufacturing Team We are seeking an experienced Industrial Machine Repair Technician to perform highly skilled mechanical maintenance, repair, rebuilding, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled trades professional looking for a stable, long-term career. Responsibilities Set up, repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery Rebuild machines, assemblies, and mechanical components Assemble, repair, tear down, and rebuild forming and production equipment Perform routine and preventive maintenance on processing and production machinery Diagnose mechanical issues and identify root causes to minimize downtime Work with engineers, production personnel, and other trades to resolve machining and assembly problems Use engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to complete repairs and rebuilds Safely operate shop equipment and precision tools Use cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment to safely move heavy machinery and components Qualifications Skilled Trades Journeyman card preferred, or 5+ years of equivalent experience Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Proficiency with precision measuring instruments Experience safely using shop equipment such as drill presses, band saws, grinders, and sanders Manual or CNC lathe and mill experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of mechanical repair, machine rebuilding, and industrial maintenance Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, oil, heat, and machinery Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform overhead work Must be willing to work day or night shift as assigned Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
