Position Introduction:

Join the University of Oklahoma and play a vital role in keeping campus operations running efficiently. As a Senior Operating Engineer/Mechanic Journeyman, you'll operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair steam and chilled water plant equipment that supports the university.

What You'll Do:

Required Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED. 18 months of steam and chill water plant operation experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date Oklahoma City and Norman campuses: High Pressure Boiler License and State of Oklahoma High Pressure Boiler License.

Tulsa campus:

City of Tulsa Unlimited First Class Stationary Engineer License.

Department Preferences:
