Overview Join a high-volume manufacturing facility as a Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong focus on industrial electrical systems and high-voltage equipment . This role is critical to maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining high-voltage electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems that support continuous manufacturing processes. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who is highly safety-conscious, electrically skilled, and comfortable working in energized industrial environments. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, test, maintain, and repair high-voltage electrical systems , electrical/electronic components, and industrial control equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment using electrical schematics, diagnostic instruments, and mechanical principles. Perform electrical troubleshooting on PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motors, power supplies, control panels, gearboxes, and pumps . Safely work on or around energized equipment in accordance with all facility, state, and federal electrical safety regulations. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) procedures with a strong emphasis on electrical system reliability and safety . Complete assigned work orders accurately and document electrical findings, repairs, and parts used in the CMMS system. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly travel paths to identify electrical hazards, equipment issues, and failure risks . Ensure all equipment startup and shutdown procedures are completed safely and in compliance with electrical and machine safety standards. Communicate electrical hazards, system deficiencies, and repair needs to maintenance leadership and production teams. Follow all lockout/tagout, arc-flash, and electrical safety procedures at all times. Participate in safety meetings, electrical training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in training and mentoring technicians with an emphasis on electrical safety and troubleshooting best practices . Qualifications expirience of industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical background . Proven experience working with high-voltage industrial electrical systems . Thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic components, including the use of meters, diagnostic instruments, and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Working knowledge of PLC operation, VFDs, motor controls, and electrical control panels . Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical-first troubleshooting skills. Ability to manage multiple electrical and mechanical repairs simultaneously. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of plant personnel. Highly safety-conscious with demonstrated compliance in high-risk electrical environments.
