Job Description

Mechanical Assembly Technician Shift:
Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
Starting Pay:
$18.00-$20.00/hour (DOE) Action Group Staffing is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling mechanical components and subassemblies used in industrial equipment while ensuring each product meets quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate has previous mechanical assembly experience, can read blueprints, and enjoys building high-quality products using a variety of hand and power tools. ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical components and subassemblies using blueprints, work instructions, and parts lists.

Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly specifications.

Use hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment to complete assemblies.

Perform basic testing and adjustments to verify proper fit and function.

Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy using measuring tools and gauges.

Prepare materials and organize parts before beginning assembly.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Perform other duties as assigned. RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly or related manufacturing experience.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable transportation.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Compensation & OpportunityStarting pay of $18.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience.

Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM schedule.

Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time employment after 520 hours.
