Life Kickoff:

Start with a safety huddle, review priority work orders, and line status for the shift.

Proactive care:

Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors, servo-driven systems, and plant utilities to prevent unplanned downtime.

Rapid response:

When an issue hits—whether it's a misaligned conveyor, hydraulic leak, or an electrical fault—you diagnose methodically and restore operation.

Hands-on repairs:

Use AC/DC welding and oxygen/acetylene cutting to repair brackets, guards, and chutes; swap bearings and belts; tighten chains; and align shafts.

Electrical troubleshooting:

Safely work with 120/208/240/480-volt systems, read schematics, identify failed components, and execute precise repairs.

Safety at the core:

Apply strict Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and respect all equipment safety shutoffs before every intervention.

Close-out:

Document work performed, communicate status to teammates, and stage parts for the next shift. What You'll Handle Preventive maintenance and routine troubleshooting across all production machinery. General mechanical, basic electrical, welding, and carpentry tasks to complete work orders on time. Safe operation of AC/DC welders, oxygen/acetylene torches, forklifts, and a full range of hand and power tools. Daily task prioritization aligned with production needs. Clear communication and accurate completion of maintenance paperwork.

What You Bring Experience:

2-3 years of verifiable experience in industrial mechanics, industrial welding, and industrial hydraulics.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience).

Licensing:

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Physical Capabilities Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and push/pull loaded materials. Comfort working on ladders and catwalks; move around, under, and on top of machinery in a dynamic plant setting. Core Skills Strong mechanical aptitude, dependable basic math, and sharp attention to detail. Clear English communication (written and spoken) to read manuals, follow safety guidelines, and complete work orders. Unwavering commitment to workplace safety for yourself and your team.
